The “compare references” feature is nice.

For those looking for a more open alternative, check out openGrid - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2mDBue4fw3U

I found Multiboard really confusing and it was never clear what I actually needed to print to start snapping things together. openGrid is much simpler in comparison and also took up a lot less material (especially when using the Lite grid variant)

Yeah, you can do this with x forwarding on Linux. Not sure if there’s a modern Wayland equivalent.

I’m curious about “L” being a curse world in Cantonese. I looked it up but couldn’t find anything about this.

If I had to guess, we’re less than 5 years away from seeing real-life C-3PO.

I picked up the Miryoku layout a year or two ago and the home row mods (Ctrl, alt, shift...) make all the difference. Adding a thumb key into the shortcut to hit a key on a layer doesn't take much extra mental energy and it becomes muscle memory for certain shortcuts. It's a little like playing different chords on the piano. I added some customization for Vim arrow keys and now I don't think I'll ever go back.

I’ve been using the Raylib_cs bindings for C# to write a CHIP-8 interpreter. It was by far the fastest library to get up and running and drawing things to a Window, although my use case is extremely simple. I’d likely come back to it if I were to make something more complicated!

> We’ve got another surprise in the VERY near future, but today is all about Mac…

Sure sounds like NMS will be on the rumored Apple VR headset.

Except.. you can't. There isn't a way to just buy the retro games anymore outside of Nintendo's subscription service for the Switch, and even then it's only a few hand-picked games. And you can forget trying to play 3DS games on the Switch.

It's really not that good. On my Mazda, Apple CarPlay won't even let me change albums while I'm driving. Which encourages me to then pick up my phone, take my eyes off the road to unlock it with my face, and fumble around with the music app until I get to what I want. Mazda even disables the touch screen while driving, forcing you to use their navigation wheel, which is supposedly safer! So I don't understand why CarPlay still tries to keep me from doing the thing it was designed to do.
