He said "almost anything that India does is at an impressive scale". Nowhere he talked about elections.

Also elections in India are pretty much rigged especially because of people buying votes.

I don't know. I trust PayPal. I am a client and I know if there's a problem they will always have my back even if I'm in the wrong.

I am saying it's not illegal because the UN doesn't make law, and I know there will be no consequences for this "crime" because the UN can't enforce anything and no country which is in good terms with the UN will want to piss off the US.

Having said that, I do NOT condone sanctions in any form.

The UN is completely toothless. Whatever they say is as relevant as if it had been said by a local court in Kazakhstan.

Iran sanctions didn't start with Trump. But you already knew that. The US has been choking Cuba for decades, for example.

Also, immoral/unjustified != illegal.

wsltty is absolute crap. Not only it is very very slow with long lines or fast output, it also freezes often with applications that have GUIs like irssi.

I have the opposite experience: notepad, notepad++, vscode, kwrite/kate, sublime, gedit, and many more I've used... none of them had this unwanted behaviour.

Because if I type "hello" in a document, I expect the editor to save "hello", not "hello\n".

Maybe your ad blocker is misconfigured, an ad was loaded and requested that permission?

No, they are not the same thing in their USE, which is exactly the point I'm making.

I trust nginx, sshd, postgres, postfix, etc. much more than I trust the gnome file manager, evince, dbus, pulse.

For every exploit that nginx currently has, there probably are a thousand lurking in gnome's file roller.
