Yes please go on with your disingenuous list.

Lee Keltner - Killed in Denver by the hired security guard for a journalist.

Aaron Danielson - Killed at dueling protests by self identifying anti-facist (antifa)

Garret Foster - He was a BLM protestor killed by an active Army sergeant.

Tyler Gerth- he was a protest photographer killed by a guy with a grudge over an argument.

David Dorn - Not killed by BLM The protests were several miles away and had disbanded a few hours earlier near the Metropolitan Police Headquarters downtown after clashes between police and a few remaining agitators turned violent

Do I really have to go on?

You make it sound like those on your list were killed BLM mobs and a modicum of investigation makes it obvious you lack perspective. Those that marched on the Capitol were indeed a mob.

It really would be surprising if he was able to reign in his worst tendencies until and after the 20th.

It works as is usually on Chinese ISPs though I noticed occasional interruptions. Using a VPN got rid of those disruptions.

"The "coup" was a joke by any standard the only reason it became such a big deal is because DC cops allowed the rioters into the Capitol instead of doing their job."

Incompetent criminals are still criminals? Botched crimes don't lead to lenient punishments.

And yet heavy policing has not solved those problems. It's almost like you should take care of underlying issues that cause these things (community disinvestment etc etc).

So whats your point? Culture changes and what was once permissible is now taboo? This is decidedly not a new phenomenon.

I just can't find any sort of argument being made here.

No one can predict the future but do you believe culture is static and that the cultural landscape of 2050 will the same as 2020?

Close to 30 years ago everyone was up in arms that Murphy Brown was a having a child out of wedlock and without a man! Shock! Horror!

Donald Trump, various world powers and the US should be ashamed at their refusal to stand up for Hong Kong. So sad.

They are not the public square they are private property that people gather on at the behest of its owner(s) but I will totally agree with you that to most people they are the defacto public square and that there plenty of monopolies that need to be broken up. Id also agree with you that regulating these companies as public utilities is the solution to your grievances (as well as having net neutrality). The only thing I disagree with you is the collusion aspect, even if they were colluding to "fix" speech, and not just towing the same line, that isn't actually illegal. Price fixing on the other hand is. I feel like there is common ground here that sensible governance, accountability and nonpartisan compromise could absolutely solve.

They are just well known examples. Like stuff you learn in high school. So a lot of people have the same general knowledge. It doesn't seem like any sort of big conspiracy. In fact before reading the comments here both ideas came to mind immediately.
