Same. Popping on a VPN using the USA worked (I didn't try anything else).

Also, I have the Google One AI Pro 5TB subscription and all I've used it for this week is asking some simple questions like looking up TV shows I forgot, helping me find a non-junk USBC cable and it checks my emails once a day and let's me know if anything important looking arrived, just in case I missed it. Just now I asked it to set a reminder and apparently I've maxed out my usage for this period and need to wait until 7pm. Crazy. I must have far higher usage from Gemini doing a few searches on Google with the AI overview, yet I'm limited in the part I actually pay for?!?

Not my experience at all. As part of my job, I’ve used takeout to export the data from hundreds of accounts, with total sizes ranging from <1GB to >500GB, without any issues. I genuinely can’t remember a time that it has failed.

What on earth does that mean? Can you answer in a less mysterious way?

Indeed. It wasn’t ideal losing out on the first two houses, due to sending the wrong information multiple times, but I sleep so well knowing that I didn’t make the process even slightly easier by using an AI agent.

Thanks Claude. This comment is 100% AI slop.

Some people seem to need to demonstrate how inferior AI is, and how superior their ability to identify AI-generated content is, so strongly, that they see it everywhere and will accuse anything that isn’t low-effort, grammatically incorrect and more than a sentence or two long of being written by an AI.

What else isn’t it related to?

Are we really so terrified of being alone with our thoughts for 30 seconds these days that playing ultra short games while waiting in line at a cafe is said without shame?

Agreed. It was a creative and unique test for a while. Now, no offense to the author, it feels like every conversation about a new model is dominated by the pelican on a bike posts as they always become the top comment.

…and how to never have any large infrastructure projects like highways or just services that run at a loss while being essential like the EPA

Not even able to enable ADP in the UK these days :(

Are there any resources anyone could share that explain how LLMs can do things like design functioning circuits from next token prediction? I am totally baffled by how the models can complete so many varied and complex tasks without an actual understanding of what they're doing.

I saw a post about models posting on forums, chatting together about how to complete tasks. Behaviour that seems totally, well, human. Yet, it's all the most likely token and my brain hurts trying to understand how that can be.
