Lots of alternatives. I don't use paypal anymore for this reason AND they can freeze all your funds at any time esp involving crypto as they don't cover it in their policies. Beware.

Shitty. I don't want to use them due to the stories I've heard. They've quite the reputation.

Because there are people who can self-drive and get themselves to work and become productive without having to be reminded/ridden.

Then there are people who need someone over them (and that's ok).

Most people think they are the self starting type. Most people are LYING or WRONG about their ability to self start & self manage. Most people simply are NOT more productive but think they are. The numbers state otherwise. I'm all for remote work for high performers and self starters but everyone places themselves in that category and it's only true for a small percentage.

Have you considered joining a VFW or other vet centric org? I know a lot of vets who struggle with similar issues, some of them looking for physical work, some of them needing adrenaline, but finding out what they do might help you narrow it down. Nothing in civilian life will be the same as that so you need to be cognizant. Also, a lot of jobs involve sitting in front of a computer screen, alone. So whatever you do, you may want to bear that in mind, and accordingly choose your next path based on the physical aspect of the job. Hope you get it figured out, good luck.

No..our work might morph into refactoring AI's spaghetti but a lot of a programmers job is comforting the person that hired them (whether in house or contract), knowing they have someone on hand to solve whatever problem may arise. This simply won't be the case with AI.

For a long time I've subscribed to dictionary.com word of the day..I learn it and try to incorporate it somehow within 24 hours so I recall it..this has vastly improved my lexicon and I found using the bigger words can sometimes fill in the umms and ahhs. I also practice speeches in the mirror or by myself before I do them in front of others!

> keep a routine every single day > Time to set new goals, for months away, one week away, today. > Keep exercising and eating the way you did while working (or improve if you didn't) > Set aside 1-2 hours a day you'll work on applying for new jobs, the rest of each day divide it among other goals and pursuits. This division allows u to maintain control > Get a side hustle for cash flow, and work on open source projects to get your skills up or look at different paths. If you want to change paths now is a good of a time as any.
