The plot wasn't based on true events. Also the DGSE cooperated in the production of the series so I imagine they weren't too keen on that. That said, I didn't feel that the series was a "look how awesome we are!" puff piece. On the contrary the characters were very human and they fucked up a lot. I like that it was subtle and not action-y.

It may have been alluded to but definitely not discussed in any detail.

You may like Les Bureau des Legendes.

That's a different point from your original comment.

Love the premise but couldn't get the night phase to work when I ran a one-shot. It quickly became repetitive thought that may have been just my lack of experience with the game.

Aren't there already basic laws against officials profiting from their role?

It's a horrible idea that will cause untold death and suffering among the civilian population.

Hello fellow listener, what games do you play? I'm currently running a play-by-post of Urban Shadows.

I think this is just him trying to justify it.

I'm not sure what you're getting at. What I meant was that it was my impression that the argument over fluoride has been going on for longer and is bigger than this one case. How and why the judge ruled and what the ruling was is tangential to that.

I'm not in the US but doesn't that downplay it a bit? Hasn't this been a contentious topic for some time? It's not like no one's been talking about it and Utah suddenly decided out of the blue.

More like "there are pros and cons but there doesn't have to be a big political fight about it".
