Every protocol has corner cases, we have seen it world wide several times. It's frustrating to accept it because yesterday's accident was just a one word mistake from an operator, and my first reaction is also yours, it's unacceptable. But sadly and rationally, it can happen. As always has been, let's hope this leads to better protocols.

No, it has not. Two different events in different places with different causes. Two stochastic events that are not remotely related, but close in time.

Yesterday's accident was a protocol tragedy, someone made a terrible mistake, and sadly those things happen, everywhere. Having two accidents in less than a year is heart breaking, and everyone is feeling that anxiety.

I've taken than train line several times, and will take it again when it's available. Fear of an accident is human and natural when you ride a bus, a train or a plane, but one has to be rational, worldwide transportation is safe.

Of course, that's why I start from the premise of owning both Tesla and SpaceX.

I think it's not that difficult when you have full access to SpaceX know how and infrastructure.

My only issue with it is that beyond being impressive and very cool, it's pretty useless.

No, but it adds important context

The wind, the universe, that statistic function you studied and forgot after passing the exam.

Don't worry, it's going to be ok... probably.

You better have a great relationship and frustration tolerance to play this. Backs are going to be stabbed like nowhere else.

Sorry but no "unless" left IMO. China has been and is still gaining momentum in every strategic matter, and they are very probably going to lead from now on.

What I am curious about is how that global leadership is going to change them, from citizens to government.

A good UI can be text, graphic, voice, etc.

I enjoy the usability and self perceived speed of not having to leave the console or reach the mouse to move a pointer when a cople of key presees is enough.

It's a matter of choice, I know, but I also think there is a genuine case for text over graphics. I see it everyday on businesses that keep old cobol tpvs at the cash, the speed at which the clercks check inventories or perform other crm activities is unmatched to mouse or touch interfaces

We usually point conspiration theories with fun (with a reason) but it's also surprising how some "success" narratives are based on a government killing competition.

No. I like them.
