America is being run by somebody who doesn't understand the value of science, so it is seen as a waste of money and worse, systematically destroyed. The problem is that the result won't become apparent for about ten years at which point Americans will be asking why everyone else is making money from science and technology breakthroughs and they're getting poorer.

These people have zero idea what they're doing. Not a single mention of pipeline parallelism that would actually make the setup useful to run a big model.

He's dead wrong about the usefulness of the technology, but he's dead right about the uncontrolled corrupt circular financing that is driving this crazy over-expansion and market distortion. He fulfils a very useful function as a counterweight to the big tech horse-shit hosepipe that sprays us every day.

They blew up my interest when the stole my money by cutting me off from Gemini CLI with no explanation or recourse. I did not violate the terms of service and my only crime seemed to be not wanting to use Antigravity. They still took my money for the rest of that month and gave me nothing for it.

If the Chinese labs can compete on a shoestring budget with access to much less powerful hardware, Google should be able to compete as well. They're becoming almost irrelevant for agentic coding right now.

It's basically a micro Unix implementation aimed at old and resource constrained systems. I've been following it for a few years. The documentation is terrible, there are hardy any updates, but it does seem to be making slows, steady progress behind the scenes. I think it just needs to reach a critical mass of functionality and we'll see it popping up on raspberry pi picos, 8-bit micros etc. Definitely needs some TLC in the comms department though. Oh, and don/t be fooled by the archived status - it moved to

Frankly, if you think that, you're not exactly a power user of office suites. Apple apps are a complete joke in the professional world.

The statement that Apple has been supporting businesses for decades is just the most self-serving bunch of crap. You can tell how thin this is by the way they push local ads on Maps as some kind of headline feature. What a joke.

I unexpectedly liked this. I thought the recommendations were actually useful.

Wow, that is one ugly vehicle. It looks like it's been in an accident.

JetBrains does a great job with this by actually rewarding users who report bugs with free licenses and such.
