I really admire Woof[1] sourceport of DOOM and how it can achieve high fps at modern resolutions using software rendering (Sure, there are still GPU apis at work behind the scenes managing swapchain and all but rendering logic is still software). Also it's worth checking out for anybody who wants to see a good SDL3 codebase.

What's the origin of the name?

I wonder does anyone here do the whole music piracy pipeline (e.g. downloading torrent -> cue splitting -> converting to lossy) entirely on their phone?

I personally find it more convenient to do that on my computer and then `adb push --sync` the PC music directory to the phone, but I'm curious what are other people's setups

I didn't know openjdk was developed by Oracle. I always thought it was a community implementation of java as opposed to Oracle's proprietary implementation.

Does the new episode work well in opensource ports? (don't feel like installing steam rn and don't care about nightdive port)

We need unlockable bootloaders on ALL phones. Then many more OSes will come

I didn't know Chocolate was getting SDL3 port moreso by icculus himself.

Of doom ports I know, Woof! already did migrate https://github.com/fabiangreffrath/woof

I don't like WYSIWYG on the web. You do a long and tedious formatting of a forum post, then close the tab and it's all gone. I prefer to use a local text editor then Ctrl+V into web form. Which I can with markdown

Will definitely play when it's released. Doom is my favourite game and I enjoy playing it at 320x200.

Now that are some scary looking file names :D https://github.com/3WyUFvDOdCbBw7gOZHwcfgKF/ironwall/tree/ma...

Also first confused the name with Ironwail, the Quake 1 source port

I on the other hand prefer epubs for fiction. I mostly read on the phone.
