> I want software that is brilliant and well audited, no matter who or what produced it.

As it turns out, "AI code" is a synonym for non brilliant and non audited code.

Having similar experiences to yours in the past, I would suggest oh they know for sure what they do. All of it is a deliberate scam game.

I was lucky to find a decent dentist (and human being). And while I am not living in the country anymore, I still fly in for dental work.

Before you ask, I did try to find a replacement and it was just like you said - oh you have 25 cavities, 5 of them life threatening if we don't deal with it right now. Went back to my dentist and we laughed it out.

Its very unfortunate our healthcare is full of scam artists, with concentration of scammers likely comparable to scam call centers.

This is such a weird framing.

The problem with Flock and similar solutions is not about what they collect, but more about who and how uses it. The same applies to pretty much all government surveillance - it is acceptable it is collected, but absolutely unacceptable that it often accessed and used in ways obscure to person of interest.

care to elaborate? (if it is just a hate - please do skip it )

Neither OpenAI nor agents can break into anything. Humans behind can.

It's like saying "a gun has shot a victim" deliberately putting a real criminal outside of public attention.

> China will most probably win the AI race in the long run because of one major bottleneck the US has - energy

Plus another bottleneck - China produces engineers, the US produces lawyers.

I have exactly same observations and perspective.

Seeing how these kids walk around with smug faces telling everyone they will "do IT now" just because claude told them so and manament wants ai everywhere made me sad at first, but then hey - everything this world keeps being destroyed, no matter how intelligent creators were. Perhaps there is some fundamental law in it.

They already effectively done that with COE. You essentially own piece of metal, which is only roadworthy if you pay $$$

How much do you pay for around the corner ride in any comparable large metropolis?

They bullshit big time on that, I have caught them not once.

For a site with proven visitors 100,000 per month CF tell me they saved 90,000 over 1,000,000 visitors (rough numbers).

Sure they know large numbers make people feel good.

Not just americans. With very few exclusions, we are all overweight, even people who do look great. The food we consuming is mostly crap.

So it's a benefit almost for everyone.

> I would say it is more accurate to say that West Papua is being genocided

I can just add it has been going on for a while in recent history and noone talks about it.

Gives you opportunity to think how deeply flawed our media is.

Indeed. Given average western diet, 3 weeks of malnutrition can only do good.

I would challenge the "move forward" narrative. Move forward as in time perhaps, but on all other directions we are walking backwards it seems
