It was based on GPT 3.5 Turbo, but it just changed to a new model GPT4All-J which is improved from 3.5 turbo, but still small enough to run locally. It’s still it’s a small model compared to GPT4 so can’t imagine to competes head to head with that best.

80% of water in California is used by agriculture, we’ll stop “stealing” water when you all stop “stealing” Cattle and Dairy, Almonds, Grapes, Lettuce, Strawberries, Tomatoes, and more a that we grow with water. Unless you’d rather buy that all shipped in from South America instead….

You’re not alone. I think it’s strange too. There are a lot of strange things other folks find entertaining though.

Also for the record, I love playing sports. I’ve just never really understood sports spectators, nor those fans that rabidly follow sports stats. The caveat being I can understand parents watching their kids play, just not this whole watching strangers called “professional athletes” play sports.

This is a great question... I've come to really like Yarn because of its caching. Much like HHVM was great for a time though there is no point in using "the feature rich alternative" when the mainstream system finally adopts all those features that pulled you away. Aside from syntax is there any reason to keep using Yarn?

I put them in my password manager (1Password) as a secure note, and then put its encrypted data file in DropBox. I wish I trusted DropBox a bit more these days (Condolezza), but I trust 1P's data file encryption and having that whole password archive cloud accessible has saved my butt more than once, once for SSH keys.

This is the data point I questioned as well in the infographic. Without more info from the original survey as reference this stat as meaningless.

I certainly hope that any parent would have earned far more than $10k working the same hours they spent teaching.

To be valid you'd really need to do a total accounting of time and costs. The means lost income by the parent offset by time not lost due to driving to/from school and such.

Me too. I certainly know far more people that home school their kids to comfortably raise them either without religion or non-traditional spirituality. That probably has more to do with where I live and my circle of friends though than I'd think is representative of the country and I fully suspect plenty of parents are home schooling to raise their children with strong religious dogma. This seems weird to me though since so many parochial schools exist in the US.
