Apologies, I was not clear. There has never been a "deadly COVID19" pandemic for <45yo

Data from public health scotland seems to agree. (p.44) https://publichealthscotland.scot/media/11223/22-01-19-covid...

But we don't know for how long. And what is strange is that unvaxxed are doing better than double vaxxed.

So what will happen once the booster effects wane? Will it be better or worse than unvaxxed?

Yes, we can see that something is different in the last months of 2021. So either Omicron, as we now that it affects younger people as well. Or another cause... Either way, it is close to the 2018 high. It would be bold to qualify that as a pandemic!

My point here was death. The fact that there is no life threatening disease for 0-45yo on a statistical level in Europe. Death for this age group is lower than it was in 2017.

> Vaccinated people suffer much less from a course of infection than unvaccinated, in all age groups.

I don't know how you can measure that. And that's not how these vaccines have been sold. They were supposed to have 95% efficacy at lowering risk of getting COVID-19 compared with the control group. We know now that is not the case as it does not help to control the epidemic (most vaxed countries with the highest cases). Transmission and contamination are not reduced with the vaccine.

So now we are told that it was never supposed to stop transmission, but miraculously, it makes your body handle the COVID better.

I don't know what data is used, but if you look for example in scotland (Page 44 https://publichealthscotland.scot/media/11223/22-01-19-covid...) There is no obvious difference between the vax or unvaxed in term of hospitalization or covid positivity (p.38) unvaxed even seem to do better.

This is health, people are always going to get sick, not just from COVID. We need to fight all diseases with the best weapons we got. Against Covid, vaccines are 1 weapon, so is anti-viral drugs, antibiotics anti inflammatory and anti coagulant.

But we should let each individual choose with his doctor what treatment he wants. And not guilt young children to take an experimental drug where we don't know the long term efficacy or side effects.

That's correct. At some point we need to look at the real data of deaths. https://www.euromomo.eu/graphs-and-maps/ In Europe, there has NEVER been A PANDEMIC for people <45yo.

All care should have focused on the elderly (early treatment, access to doctors even when positive...). No restrictions (mask, mandatory vaccine, lockdowns..) makes sense for those aged under 45yo.

I think it is great that omicron can propagate like this. The severity seems to be quite low. That means that everybody will be immune and we can move on. We should remove as well those mask and vaccine coercion, but I don't think that will happen.

I personally look at the raw data of death. I believe that most data you would get around COVID have bias, and only overall data speak the truth.

Look at what happened in Europe: https://www.euromomo.eu/graphs-and-maps (This does not include hospitalizations) First of, you realize that the pandemic is not at all what we have been told. We can observe an increase in death in the winters, but somewhere like peaks with 10% more deaths than the years beforehand.

You realize that for the 0-44 age group, there has been NO PANDEMIC. So from the beginning, we should just let this age group live normally. (no mask, no restrictions, no mandatory vaccine, no pass, no isolation)

Then comes the other age groups > 44, that did have excess death especially during winters. We should focus on the care to them and allow them to have a better access to their doctor, even when positive. Equip all of them with early treatment pack (antiviral and antibiotics for the first phase, anticoagulant and anti-inflammatory for the second). Provide them access to vaccines, only if they want to take them as it is an experimental treatment.

The main reason why the hospitals got over populated is because we told people to isolate and not see their doctors. They wait to be really sick and have no choice than going to the hospital.

Then come the health structure. We should just double the wages of all the nurses, auxiliary, GP, emergency doctors. Allow quick formations for unemployed and military to become auxiliary.

And if you think we cannot pay for that, think about the cost of a single day of nation wide lockdown.

Keep cool friend. It gives me headaches as well but... Everybody is entitled to their stupid opinion. So are we :) But I have to react to :

> and you probably shouldn't be contradicting the experts.

As you know, expert themselves can disagree, and have strong evidence to defend their sides.

For example, Niels Bohr and Einstein had massive disagreements, both of them are references, and had convincing arguments.

In the end you got to choose what you want to believe in with your intellect and your guts. And if you have neither, the New York Times it is haha

Latest studies don't seem to agree with your statement: "Increases in COVID-19 are unrelated to levels of vaccination across 68 countries and 2947 counties in the United States" https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s10654-021-00808-7

The theory of vaccinating people to protect others is taking another hit. It looks more that we should focus on proposing the vaccine to the people at risk (clearly identified, >65 years old, or multiple co-morbidity) for their own survival
