In the reference video you posted he literally states that the FreeBSD version was less stable than Linux, that he experienced repeated game crashes in FreeBSD, that frame rates would drop 50% without explanation and that the overall experience was better on Linux than FreeBSD or Windows.

It should also be noted that it’s also not native on Linux either as he’s using Wine on both Linux and FreeBSD

>Where do I add the JavaScript for that? Is it raw, inline, or are we back to packages and bundling and a build step?

That’s really your call to make. I’ve never went the full build step with it, but I’ve only built some internal dashboards and crud apps with it.

As the CEO of HTMX I can assure you that you’ve only scratched the surface of the HATEOAS doctrines

Maybe I read it wrong but I took it as him saying women are “naturally” less interested in STEM not that they are less capable in the area.

And I’d say that misogyny falls under “sexist” in the list of problematic stuff

The Reddit link didn’t load for some reason and the other day be didn’t include anything racist, homophobic or transphobic. What it did cover is definitely a simplistic view ignoring the cultural nuances that might lower women’s participation in stem, but I’m not sure I’d classify it as sexist.

Don’t follow him much but do you got any links discussing Blow being sexist, racist, homophobic, and transphobic?

You aren’t refuting a negative because the statement isn’t “they are unrelated” the statement is “(with current information) there is nothing suggesting they are related”

If you’re close to the situation, and have a substantiated reason to believe the claim that there’s no current information suggesting they’re related is inaccurate, you should be able to back that up. Except we both know you can’t, because you’re attempting to refute something that wasn’t actually said.

There’s nothing to really get. There’s no deep meaning to the numbers or the comparison

Maybe you’re ignoring the context that he’s replying to the author and saying “only” because he’s comparing his 53 with the author’s 150+

I’m not saying a Mac Pro with expansion slots, I’m saying a Mac Pro whose marketing angle is locally running AI models. A hungry market that would accept moderate performance and is already used to bloated price tags has to have them salivating.

I think the hold up here is whether TSMC can actually deliver the M5 Pro/Ultra and whether the MLX team can give them a usable platform.

Comment · 10 months ago
Yeah outside of TSMC, I don’t see them ever going back to having a hardware partner.

There’s been rumors of Apple working on M-chips that have the GPU and CPU as discrete chiplets. The original rumor said this would happen with the M5 Pro, so it’s potentially on the roadmap.

Theoretically they could farm out the GPU to another company but it seems like they’re set on owning all of the hardware designs.

I’m expecting Apple to release a new Mac Pro in the next couple years who’s main marketing angle is exactly this

You’re 100% correct companies can’t survive by being a niche market choice. The options are complete global market saturation or failure.

/unjerk out of all the potential mindsets to inherit from the US, the “corporate maximalist” frame of reference is one of the dumbest we have to offer

His pedantic point is that due to the way the original question was written, the answer is “yes” regardless if you object or not.

The question was “isn’t that the state with license plates that say ‘live free or die’?” And even if you get a license plate that doesn’t say it, NH is still the state with those plates
