I mean, yes [the] use articles is difficult for speakers of [the] Slavic languages, but then you normally see it like "we want to build code base", whereas this reeks of LLM voice.

> the high fuel prices due to the Iran war is making their entry level EV pay for itself

Is this that 4D chess thing people keep talking about?

I wonder how many people actually had bad experiences with SO vs how many people found it genuinely helpful. I'm going to guess the people with bad experiences are much more likely to comment about it loudly than all the people who found it helpful. (I always feel this dissonance when reading about the mean mods ruining the site, since I never experienced them firsthand.)

libera#emacs tends to have around 8-900 users connected (maybe more when the US is awake, probably not everyone uses a bouncer). Both reddit and mailing list are quite active too.

Native compilation is now default, so elisp is much faster than it was out of the box.

Tree-sitter support is quite smooth now, with automatic grammar installation.

Apparently very good Android support.

Canvas support is in master, people are building all kinds of crazy stuff[0] with this

Lots of nice built-in packages like modus themes, eglot, which-key. Editable grep/xref/occur results is also built-in now. New context menu things.

Load the "newcomer-presets" theme to enable stuff that newcomers tend to want enabled (tab bar, fancy completion, lots of little things).
