This is reaching an unacceptable level of performance. There isn't a week that work isn't interrupted by GH.

I have App Store disabled on my kids iPad and it does disable updates. I have to manually re-enable it and install updates every few days.

This sounds like an excuse not to do raises. They were happy to up the prices during COVID, and those have not come down even though the supply chain has settled.

I have tried quite a few online whiteboards during the pandemic WFH. IMHO nothing comes close to https://excalidraw.com

No signup needed, clean interface, fast load times and an option to self host makes it an excellent product.

I wrote a custom script for myself about two years ago to do the exact same thing! It’s still publicly accessible in my GitHub gists. I had no idea that others will find it useful.

I unfollowed everyone. Then I added a selective few to follow. I have tweaked who I follow and who I unfollow over the last two years to give me a balanced news feed that I enjoy. Basically twitter behavior but on FB.

Definitely! A while back Yahoo! purged a ton of addresses and allowed individuals to signup with them to get unique/clean email handles.

I was able to grab [email protected]. The address looks neat.

Since I’ve had that address, I’ve received password reset emails, bank documents, airline tickets and what not.

Massive security hole is an understatement.

Yes it is. This might be the last iMac with user accessible RAM chip though.

AirPods have a lot of criticism? I would understand that if you made the same claim about iMac, Mac mini, iPad mini, i9 MacBook Pro or the stupid butterfly keyboards.

AirPods sold 36 million units and everyone and their grandma got it on Christmas. They have been sold at most holidays.

I personally think this is one of the best device Apple has created in a long time. It’s not for everyone but once you get used to it, you won’t go anywhere without them.

Paid apps are far from dead. I buy apps all the time. I bought a watch face for Pebble half hour ago. Developers need to feed their families and I see buying quality apps very similar to buying good coffee or food.

I couldn't agree with you more. I'm bored. The thing is I like the simplicity of iPhones and I have been using them for past 7 years as well. Now it got to a point where small incremental features were not doing anything for me. I switched to Nexus 6P recently. It is one hell of a phone. So many features, so much customization! The access to file system (not root) is one thing that I would not be able to live without anymore. Having directories to put files and music in is so simple and similar to using a Mac/PC. I do miss iMessage and FaceTime though. If the rumor about WWDC bringing iMessage to Android is true I don't see a reason to go back to the iPhone.

Same here. I have tried it a few times. The sole reason I'm not moving from Sublime is the speed of the editor.
