I have to ask, is this "returns to open models" even correct, considering from a quick look the facebook huggingface collections[0] has been actively releasing different kind of models almost monthly for long time now, possibly even some actual open source ones (looks like Sam 3D had a dataset collection, but didnt look more into it).

Maybe they are not as noteworthy as the recent release, maybe they are too niche for general audience, but its not like they just stopped releasing open weight things and this is their big return, unless i am missing something?

im also getting it after trying with troubleshooting mode on (disables extensions, themes and custom settings.) this is on windows and latest firefox 90.0.2

I would like to add that this instance has been proven to be fake, or something a redditor wrote as a joke/'fanfic'.

althought im sure people like that do exist, maybe not to that extent, this particular case isnt real.

i would not recommend to look for hosts there. Most (say 90%) of the hosts seen there are hosted on Colocrossing that actually owns both LowendBox and Lowendtalk (forum, thats mostly ran by volunteers)

just today it turns out many of the hosts (20 and still increasing) posted there just suddenly decide to close shop, all at once, with the same email from all of them. This isnt even the first time this has happened, but it is on a larger scale. (you can read more about this on lowendtalk if interested)

I know of ikoula, which has gtx 1070 servers available under your budget. Looks like they are even running a promo right now so it's even cheaper. Just remember to read small print etc

Just do your own research tho. I don't remember hearing anything bad about them but at the same time I'm not endorsing either.

For what it's worth, last time I checked pretty much every host on lowendbox is a customer from ColoCrossing (the owner of the site, data center owner) and there's recently been some shady stuff happening over at LowEndTalk (basically forum side) of spammers and other hosts being unbanned by CC (as they own both sites, and operate LEB, LET is mostly operated by volunteers) , and just recently one host offering 3 year amazing deals, similar/better than what you got, operating for little over a year and little bit after BlackFriday where they again we're selling their 3 year deals just completely closed shop, almost without any communication, and CC deleted any mention of them from LEB.

Not exactly saying your host will do the same, but there's a reason almost all the hosts offer same locations (NY, LA and Chicago), and those specs with that price (even without discount) is unbelievable cheap, maybe too cheap

I don't think it's purpose is for you to learn it all, but get the general concept of what to do/where to go next.

Kinda like in css frameworks, you probably know what bootstrap is, so Bulma is basically alternative to that, but you don't actually need to know/learn them all

did that host happen to be Hiformance? pretty much what you said is happening there (servers going down, no contact from host etc)
