The device in the article isn't a home appliance.

This isn't your single compressor/evaporator/condenser coil appliance that sits in your kitchen. These are far larger and more complex systems.

The AK-SM 800A can control 170 different refrigeration devices. This is more akin to the entire freezer section (and probably meat and dairy) in your supermarket.

It's not about whether the dead care. It's not for them, just about them.

That analogy might be good, but doesn't resemble reality: the robot vacuum I had never made it anywhere near as clean as when I just hired people to come in once every two weeks to vacuum and clean floors.

As a guy who does HVAC as a hobby, this post is hilarious, nobody should take it seriously.

I can see exactly where the practical experience would be invaluable.

> To produce a watt of electricity using natural gas actually produces less CO2 than a watt from solar that far north

What about the watt after that? I still got the solar panel for that next watt, and with natural gas I have... well I don't have anything, I need more natural gas!

> This is bad in that when the battery malfunctions, the energy is released at 30x the rate

Got a study you can link about that?

Hmm it says my ASN has 512 IPv4 addresses, as the guy who filled out the paperwork for that from ARIN and got a /24 (256 addresses) afterwards, I think this has some major bugs.

Oh and it doesn't even properly consume the geofeed information I have published.

It's SolarOS 4 --a pretty well-layered joke.
