They are considered fintechs, this usually comes with some drawbacks such as higher chance of unexplained account closure.

Most banks in the US still use SMS password reset.

PNC is so bad they even have “secret question” password reset, last time I saw it, e.g. “what’s is the name of your cousin”

The traditional banks are not better than crypto for receiving and sending money, specially when it comes to international transactions.

The only thing they are better is providing security in an easier way.

The truth is that banks often have pretty bad security and customer service, but the risk of getting caught after stealing crypto is virtually zero when compared to scamming someone’s bank account balance.

5$ per day how???

I’ve been trying to spend my 5$ with deepseek that I put 2 months ago. I almost never hit limit with claude opus in 20$ plan.

Do you guys just run model in paralallel + loop?

Does it even produce anything worth using that way?

It’s always the same argument variation when trying to defend react: “Find it complicated? Maybe you’re stupid.”

No, using a frontend framework is not as complicated as developing your own cryptography, not even close, just use anything other than react instead.

I don't think the average airbnb owner can exit vim.

If most people can’t use it properly perhaps the problem is in react itself and not most people. React is the only framework that will blame the user for its own mistakes.

I put 5 dollars at deepseek a long time ago, and somehow it has never been fully spent, can’t imagine anyway to spend 200$ on that thing

That would be funny if you did this while living in Tokyo
