How would you be able to network as effectively as you do now, if you were outside the valley?

I'm in a similar situation to yours with similar numbers now. Just curious, what technology are you using? I'm on Rails, outside the valley, but my clients are inside. Ironically enough, 2 years ago I was working for $500/week, and working twice as hard as I am now

this is surprisingly cool.. I need lawyers with international specialization though.. as soon as you guys hit this, i'm on board

what does "on your own" mean..? something I just want to putz around with, or does something that I'm hoping to start a company around qualify?

what do I get beyond google voice for these prices?

very very nice!

whats an example of a signaling server that could be used with something like this?

a time machine

apologies.. I completely inverted the meaning of your comment... and yeah, I think the other commenter is right.. the second line would be an appropriately sarcastic response if it actually said what my brain interpreted it as.

That said, given the number of upvotes, it seems like a ton of people misread your comment as well.. quite interesting...

is this US centric? or applicable to EU audiences as well?

I agree... but the "best" doctor is also 5k miles away from me, and out of my immediately budget, since insurance doesn't cover it.. so.. I'll settle for "effective"

I suffer from a cross disciplinary illness, in which very few doctors have experience (because it doesn't fit into one of the major well defined specialties). You can't imagine how happy it makes me when a doctor tells me "I have to go look that up", as opposed to.. no.. there's nothing to worry about, you're just imagining that, or whatever

this seems way cooler to me than the ones that use visual input.. looking forward to the dev kit!
