Your premise is incorrect. They have a lifestyle based on their religion. It existed way before yours. You passing a law against a peaceful, highly prosperous, time-tested, religion-based lifestyle is unjust and oppressive.

Not about struggling to adapt, but a willful choice for personal reasons.

Hope you get a good govt contract if that's an aim.

Exclusion from society, and the object of anger at "those darn Luddites". You can't tell an Amish he can't use physical coins. Or that his buggy is too slow for the roads (not highways), etc.

I've had the concern for years that AI users (or AI itself) will eventually consider non-AI users a pain, because humans will become inefficient in lots of workloads and management, sometimes causing things to come down to a screeching halt, relatively speaking.

We have to solidify laws protecting anti-AI-ers if that's their choice.

I don't really work in that field, but wonder about employees who dedicated their careers to X Microsoft technology, now gone.

Look at this corporate-slop-speak for how they say "we're firing people":

Huh, you were right. I chatted with AI for a while on this as well. Interesting cases, especially the crypto king CZ's pardon. Though unproven by courts, their circumstances and timelines strongly smell like pay-for-pardon, even without proof of agreements.

So our obsession with jail is nuts, because... you lean towards no one willfully signed off on a lie, in a company with a history like Meta/Facebook, in a $25B fine?

Or land of the "not that stupid to trust the CCP".

Yea, because it's in their financial interest.

Remember when they bought github in order to "benefit" the open-source community, then we found out they used everyone's data to train their models and sell data to other companies? Yea...Microsoft.
