And there are also adaptable people that make it work under most or any system, and another type of people who find the failure cases for almost any type of system.

Time for legislation around this. Email support must be an option, and ticket confirmation record must be provided.

I heard of significant driver and stability issues on some of them, despite being all MS. How's yours going, software wise?

Its very easy, you have a configuration setting with the list of algorithms and a short textual description. Users try them and quickly change off ones they don't like till they settle on one they like best.

Yeah my expensive Lenovo Slim 7 Pro Carbon edition has just had the hinge fail at 11 months. I'm sick and tired of high end Windows laptops all failing due to hardware issues. I am seriously considering a Mac for the first time in two decades in disgust with the state of reliability of Windows laptops. But I don't want to run Apple software and live in their walled garden.

Don't be fooled - they are a part of google's insurance against perceptions of monopoly. Their efforts are deliberately kept to the level of being PR but useless in reality.

I like to fill up a big glass with water. When the glass is empty I get up to get more. Exercise, a break, and a good water clean!

That house is not in the same context as 20 years ago. Constant growth provides more amenity for the house than previously, and higher competitive desireability.

To get an equivalent house you need to go further out to a less developed area with less people competing for the house, and there you will find cheaper houses.

I'm not saying it is sustainable or what the values should be etc, just that the past conditions != todays conditions despite it being the same latitude and longitude.
