Or foreign influence campaigns target legitimate greviances but attempt to expand the grievance beyond all proportion, reframe the concerns from solveable to evil vs good and attempt to purposefully inflame emotions rather than solve problems in order to weaken unity and ability of rival states to act against the agitating nation.

It was a point of technical pride that it was designed to run at 60 fps. Unfortunately the game was so poorly designed and coded that any time things started happening the game was incapable of running at 60 fps.

It is basically like if Windows ME team had designed it to work on 4k. It would've made things worse knowing they wasted time on putting a flower on a giant pile of turds.

After seeing several LPs of how horrible this game was I asked my wife for it for Christmas. She got it for me and I was excited to experience the mind rotting horror it was supposed to be. Only to find out that despite being able to play almost every other XBox 360 game I have being backwards compatible this one particular game refused to play on it.

It sucks I still want to try it sometime if anyone has any advice I'd love to hear it.

Just as a clarification since many people don't seem to be reading the article. This article only discussed things that happened pre-2020.

It also seems like it has less to do with Kushner himself being enriched and more about Arab Gilfstates trying to clandestinely normalize relations with Israel without letting their populace know. I'm not saying this isn't bad or he didn't break laws or anything just everything associated with this seems to be more in line with international realpolitik, spy and espionage rather than Kurshner taking stacks of cash to make himself rich.

> they don't want their configuration to also be a full-fledged programming language.

They say they don't want it but every configurmation format eventually ends up becoming turing complete at some point.

Could this discovery that white dwarfs may have different colors have implications for our astronomical models since it changes the measurements, I.e. measuring redshift?

I don't know how many people read the article there are concerning things in there but there is also significant discussion of regular old CyberCom activities such as malware research and what not.

What we need to understand is that cyberspace has opened up another theater of Operation and one that the nations enemies actively use against it, because of our free and open culture of speech.

I'll also point out that throughout the article it points how the operation was authorized by Obama, appealed for bt democratic senators trying to stop "disinformation" and prevent election "interference" as well as Republican presidents.

The fact of the matter is almost everything you see or read on the Internet is not organic but is parroting a prepared position for someone trying to influence you. Benignly to buy things, less benignly can be foreign actors attempting to distablize or so discontent amongst a potential geo-political rival. And this isn't new either, all the way back in in WW1 Germany was supporting and supplying Irish rebels. This is how the great game is played unfortunately.

The solution will be found by building bridges, getting to know people in the real world and reducing the influence of cyberspace on your life.

Before that it was the Soviets and before that it appeared Imperial Germany would be the best contender to break English hegemony. It turns out that autocratic regimes often set themselves in opposition to democratic governments that believe government derives it's authority from the consent of the governed.

Now this is the kind of Mozilla project I can get behind it focuses on the browser it gives a potential path for revenue and I practically jumped up and down when they announced their bringing in Thunderbird.

Solid props to Mozilla for this one. Good job.

> Models of 30B parameters and under can already complete many of the individual steps for replication today, though they make mistakes when composing them end to end.

I know theoretically how an internal combustion engine works so I can basically build a car

>A model that’s too large to fit on one device can be split into pieces, or shards, that run on separate machines that communicate with each other to collectively run the model.

The big labs but sure as hell how that isn't the case, because if we can do distributed computing to train and run AI efficiently then no one is stopping it anyway. Beyond that most home IoT devices will fall over and die if you look at them funny let alone trying to run a whole distributed LLM, not to mention plenty of home routers are going to give up and die of heat stroke before being able to approximate anything close to a reasonable LLM.

I stopped reading, this strikes me as the kind of people that assume because they read a book about something they'll be able to do it. The real problem a self replicating LLM vai IOT is going to run into is fighting the cyber criminals that have already compromised the device and using it as part of a botnet.

Wait till they get wind of that toxic dihydrogen monoxide. It is in almost every beverage in the US and is the same chemical used in pesticides, fertilizer, its even used in many toxic waste industrial processes.

Beyond that there are numerous repeated and scientifically proven to cause permanent brain damage or even death in sufficient concentrations. How long will Washington insiders profit while our nation continues to sicken.
