Even better, they have a model called the "Freedom Cage"!

It's an unequal distribution problem here. There's a train with 5 minutes between vehicles, it just takes a half hour walk to get there if I miss our bus. Some parts of the city the system isn't a joke and is so redundant and fast you don't need to check a schedule, and the people in charge don't seem to realize there's places where it's bad.

I think Archive Team might have scraped it, but their site is down due to PHP-related reasons at the moment.

Where I am, we're getting the worst of it, where we're treated as if no one needs a car because there's a bus that comes by every half hour most of the day (unless it just doesn't show up), but we still get driving made more difficult without a viable alternative. It's frustrating.

Seattle has instances of it, but there are still many parts of the city not well connected by transit.

> Of course just because there are technically flaws, doesn't mean it's not an improvement over the status quo.

The problem IMO is when there's better options but it's hard to get people to care enough to switch systems again. I'm hoping Ranked Robin can catch on so at least places that went to IRV can switch to a better system without new ballots.

> Non-monotonicity in particular seems like a bad property of a voting system, so I'm confused that IRV is so popular recently.

Same here. The idea of lobbying for a voting system where your vote for a candidate might hurt them, or where you might be better off not voting at all than expressing your honest preference is bizarre to me. If IRV was the only alternative, sure, but we have multiple other systems which don't have as bad tradeoffs. STAR or Ranked Robin would be so much better, but the Equal Vote Coalition doesn't seem to have the power behind it that FairVote does.

The 737-NG is relatively safe. By hull-loss accidents per million departures, it's safer than the A320ceo, less safe than the A320neo. You're thinking of the 737 MAX.

> The FAA rejected these requests, saying the inspection intervals were to ensure excessive freeplay does not develop in either original or replacement parts. It is estimated that each inspection will take six work hours and cost $510 per aircraft, putting the cost across the US fleet at over $1 million, not including the price of replacement parts.

Doesn't sound like it.

Brood War definitely took some inspiration from the movie.

A shame if they don't recreate the Lost Viking game from Wings of Liberty itself.

I haven't been bothered over them yet, but I fully expect a conversation where someone yells at me for "filming", I show there's no cameras, and they insist they're simply hidden.

It doesn't fly in the same way I don't "fly" when I jump. You need to be on more than a ballistic trajectory.

I think they more meant the "6-8 hours to fill and you get 1 launch" aspect. The gooning starts in the garage.
