Went from using Codex and Claude via ACP in zed to Codex app, then harness aggregators like Paseo, Orca and Superset to Claude Projects.

Claude Projects is pretty nice and integrates with Claude Artifacts for design tasks. Projects remembers context, repositories and working directories so I can always pick up work in the main orchestrator chat and Projects branches in different chats as needed. My only gripe is that it's really intransparent when Claude works locally. Sometimes Claude doesn't have enough permissions and I need to prompt it to do stuff explicitly on the Mac.

I’ve been really impressed with the current frontier models’ capabilities to build native macOS/iOS apps. I’ve had Claude build native apps which I would have built as web apps not long ago.

Also, when I first started out building with AI I made sure it would use frameworks and programming languages I know. Now I don’t care at all and let it choose the best technology. I don’t read a single line of code it generates and only work in the harnesses, never in an editor anymore.

I’m only building apps for myself and I’m not a professional developer.

These demos got me exited. Sitting in front of my computer telling ChatGPT what to do while watching the results in realtime. Hope this ends up working in reality.

Wow, this is the worst update I've ever seen. Highly confusing and atrocious UX. Where are my chats? Where are my projects? Why do I get a window inside the ChatGPT app for new chats now? Why does switching between Work and Codex not do anything? Are both the same? How can a company like OpenAI mess up so badly? Unless I figure out a painful way to work with this, I don't see myself using this anymore.

EDIT 1: I just want a list of my chats. Insane how they butchered their app. Work sounds nice until yo find out that none of the plugins work for my apps and there 5 hour are usage limits like CC does them.

EDIT 2: This is trash. They buried chats so deep in the new app they're unusable now. The whole list is hidden, and yo can't search for chats anymore. Also my projects are gone on macOS. In the iOS app my latest project has become a pinned folder? A function that doesn't even exist in the macOS app.

EDIT 3: Managed to get the old version back using home-brew. OpenAI help pages say the old app should remain as ChatGPT Classic but it didn't for me and there is no download offered.

Yes, this kind of writing is rampant on X. Once you know it's coming from an LLM (mostly ChatGPT in my opinion as it uses this style often) you can't unsee it. And that immediately makes me skip it.

Nice, tried with a scam text I received today. 95% sure it was scam.

I have an iPhone 11 Pro. One of the lenses is broken and it makes a weird snaring sound while recording video. Battery life is still okay at about 80% capacity. It does everything I need it to do without fail.

If it weren’t for those defects I’d keep it at least for another year.

When I went to Death Valley the first thing I saw were signs telling you how many people had died from the heat in that year. Then it started raining.

This is highly inappropriate for a job interview at least in my country. You can’t ask these type of personal questions. Who would feel comfortable sharing this with a complete stranger anyway?
