I run Snapcast across my house connected to MPD running on a local Linux box, and have been pretty happy with it. I've had to do very little maintenance to keep things running.

The main thing I haven't been able to figure out is how to have multiple Snapcast streams and control which room listens to what. I don't actually think it's possible to do.. (though I could be wrong?)

The keyboard layouts are entirely customizable, so you could configure the keys to the right of T and left of Y to be the other one.

Have you looked at Hanami? https://hanamirb.org/

I'm in the same boat about RoR. I just find its size to be overkill for most uses. Hanami is considerably smaller and lightweight, but not to the point where it's more of a micro-framework (like Roda). I've been happy with it for a number of microservices and some larger websites.

I've been using Executor recently, but this looks to be way more powerful. Thanks for the tip.

I'm on a team that started doing Scrum a few months ago, and we're still figuring it out.

To be clear: are you saying that the one team that did Scrum well did so because they spent more time on the process? Reading what you wrote, spending two full days every two weeks to plan sounds, well, terribly dragged out. Does it feel like the time was well spent, or was it a slog?

Yeah, Jira is horrible. Between the workflows, search filters (create one, apply it to a board, but then you can't edit it?) and everything else, it's really clunky to use.

I've done test runs with other tracking software, and I can't really find anything better. Every tool sucks in its own way. Do you have a recommendation on something that you've found that's better than Jira?

Cyan also put out a game called Obduction a little over a year ago that's very much in the same vein as Myst (the Wikipedia article calls it a spiritual successor), only updated to fit the current times. It's really well done, and worth a look.

For what it's worth, there are some fan cuts of the Hobbit movies that remove all the superfluous stuff and make it much closer to the book. Worth looking up.
