People are usually supplementing Vitamin D during the time of the year where there's essentially zero UV light outdoors

> I'll start squirting vitamin D in my coffee milk

Isn't that more complicated and way less precise in dosage than just taking a pill every day (or a higher dose one every week)?

If you're talking about investment in the usual sense, can't you just buy stocks of solar/clean energy companies?

Otherwise, if you just mean financially supporting solar technology, one good way is donating to political action/lobbying groups like Greenlight America or CATF (though that supports clean energy as a whole, not just solar)

Wikipedia is an encyclopedia. Being as detailed as possible is its goal. Simple English Wikipedia exists for shorter easier to read versions of articles. Generally though, turning a complex topic into a fun easy read is the goal of good scientific journalism, which is also important but a separate effort from an encyclopedia.

> On a side note, the Merlin bird ID app from Cornell University is great.

Do you know how it compares to iNaturalist? I'm not a birdwatcher, but I have iNat on my phone and sometimes use it to identify birds, and it seems to do a great job.

The static export still keeps a large JS bundle which is mostly unnecessary

How is it a wild claim that an optimized plain html site is better for a static blog than a site with a huge redundant JS bundle?
