I'm a beardless unix greybeard who loves dabbling in new computer languages.

I'm also fascinated in the psychology of belief.

Philosophically a skeptic, but I don't attend their services :-)

The passage where Tom goes to whitewash the fence is brilliant.

Relatable to any kids forced to do chores.

You're reading too much into this, I think. Bad kids do exist. Be compassionate, but do not encourage involvement with them.

I have really really profound regrets about not doing this myself, with my kids.

> Tyler Shultz went to work at Theranos right out of Stanford and soon noticed that things weren't as they seemed. Lots of other employees knew there was something fishy going on, but Tyler was one of a tiny handful able to resist the mesmerizing and intimidating Elizabeth Holmes and speak out about the fraud that was putting patients at risk.

Yes, I admire the restraint required to not put "unlucky" in quotes.

Mouse movement doesn't seem to work with Chrome on Mac.

Looks good though!

I'm also reminded if "I am a rock" by Simon and Garfunkel. Last two stanzas:

    I have my books
And my poetry to protect me
I am shielded in my armor
Hiding in my room safe within my womb
I touch no one and no one touches me
I am a rock I am an island

And a rock feels no pain
    And an island never cries

Love this comment, it's simultaneously very nerdy and very non-nerdy at the same time. Well done!

Reminiscent of Frank Zappa's album "Ship_Arriving_Too_Late_to_Save_a_Drowning_Witch"
