It is not just you. I wasn't actively reading for a few days, came back from a short trip and there is like 5 open security breaches on the top page right now.

Amazing demo.

Also amazing stupidity of people believing anything close to this will hit the streets. Lies and lies for a decade, and now after a flashy demo it is again "2028".

If that’s how you enjoy spending time outside of day-to-day work, then great.

My comment was more in a sense that people are effectively forced to be online all the time, even when taking a beautiful hike in the nature. And AI gonna make it even worse as people start to “normalise” this behaviour.

Would you prefer if he didn't climb the van to answer a client email and have less (or no) interruptions during family time?

I don't think you have understood what I was trying to say. Amazing here is more like surprised, don't wanna say negatively, but definitely not in a positive sense :)

Amazing to see people going on a beautiful hike, while chatting with agents all the time to "do some work".

Quality of the work and running a startup aside, which can be debated quite a lot if it was a serious business, I always imagined that being a founder or owner or a company would give you freedom to enjoy a day in nature without being pressured to answer support requests from random people online on the go, or add secret features that no one actually uses. I guess not everyone sees it that way.

So, similar as Google and Microsoft have been doing with all their tools?

I don't think they prefer it, but the price is a deciding factor.

Most people would be happier with La Marzocco coffe machines which costs thousands of dollars, but if you get an OK shot with a 100 USD DeLongi, then the choice is clear for majority of the population.

It is interesting to see that we are using this term Math 2.0 so quickly, after just a few months/year of seeming progress on previously hard problems, for something that has been around for thousands of years.

History will remember your actions, being against an international court is a sign you are the bad guy. Not even mentioning anything else that is magnitudes worse.

Funding of nearly every major USA political can only get you so far.

These sanctions are a prime example of influence of a foreign nation on the USA policies.

Do we really think that FTC under this administration, which is in bed with top tech billionaires giving gifts for inauguration will do anything against them?

Let's not kid ourselves.

Good riddance, if you are such a high profile person and spread misinformation causing deaths of children and elderly, then you deserve no voice online.

I assume you think that yelling fire in a theater is also a heterodoxy?

> Quantum algorithmic optimization: Argon is helping our quantum computing researchers optimize the spacetime resources (qubits × gates) of subroutines that bottleneck important applications. In one example, it beat the published baseline by 40% in a matter of minutes.

Amazing breakthrough! So useful in day to day life, glad they put this as the first bullet of how it is making changes at Google.
