How else would you format such a parody?

Would definitely try next time I buy a hardcover :) But I think this first opening rule must be some US quirk. I only see US sources for it on internet, and can't find German or Russian one

That's sure can't be true for "modern" (as in 1960s+) books? Bookstores normally allow to look inside hardcovers without being instructed on proper handling first

Can this stuff autorotate? You could also take emergency parachute with you (~5kg), would require flying at least at 500ft or something to be able to deploy it

I think trains are ok with trees. I checked satellite view - there are a lot of rail tracks in Chicago going directly along tree lines. The rail yards indeed look like tracks on concrete with nothing else, but when I look at German ones - there are trees and bushes.

If just slowing down helps to prevent an accident, not sure what the bell would be good for - except for signaling your frustration to everyone around you

Pretty sure it was not about presence of visible borders, but about missing spacing between borders and buttons. That on some screenshots, but not others. It's not like this ui has some high-density philosophy, it's just very inconsistent
