I'm not a radio guy, but I've read that the in-phone modems and antennas for Globalstar were much closer to existing designs. The spectrum is apparently right next to WiFi and Bluetooth bands.

I learned to touch type using lower case l for 1. Later on I was "Look, ma, there's an actual number 1 on this computer keyboard."

Setting aside the use of "an internal research model", how would one go about prompting an LLM to do this?

This is pretty cool. I just discovered the TESS data set yesterday and was wondering what I could do with it. Good on him.

The privacy issue blocks me from adopting this or other personal assistants: do I want to give muse my identity data and access to my mail, calendar, and phone so it can do even basic tasks like make appointments or pay bills?

It will be interesting to see if muse's privacy features can get users over this.

Google tries a lot of stuff. It doesn't always work out for them, and sometimes they give up on it. I don't think that's a complete loss for the rest of us. We get to see what didn't work in the real world, and if it's really valuable, someone else can pick up the idea and build on that knowledge. I say this as someone who misses Google Reader.

Any idea how being persistent is trained? I've noticed that telling an LLM that it needs to think some more sometimes produces better results, but the claim here is that "they are very persistent" and "...kept going...".
