In Canada I never use Costco gas stations because the line ups are horrendous. Is that true of US Costcos as well?

I'm trying to be charitable here but a summary is literally the third sentence of the post, with the full definition linked:

>> It uses the definition of "legally significant" from the GNU Project maintainer guidelines, which holds that the threshold is ""around 15 lines of code and/or text"" to qualify as significant for copyright purposes. GCC maintainers may, however, choose to accept legally significant test cases that are generated by an LLM.

Does anyone read more than the headline before jumping to the comments anymore?

This can't work: life expectancy (of humans) can differ more than 30 years around the world, plus there are significant differences between men and women, and corporations - which often own copyright on work for hire - can live in perpetuity.

you forgot the (tm) on the metrics system. That's a huge smell.

This is exactly how the RFK shit gets support: one person says "hey, I did it and I'm fine!" somehow get extrapolated to "it's good for _Everyone_"

The Venezuelan oil is essentially the same, and Canadian bitumen is much cheaper on the world market to account for this.

investors are irrational but actually tend to go the other way - too risk adverse. I'm not sure what a "greedy" investor is, TBH.

most don't even have 3-5 years "spending money" (whatever that is) in total savings; if you're keeping that in cash you're getting 2-3% annually while the market has doubled.

>> He was also more focused on being interesting and at least a bit provocative than being correct.

So exactly like everyone today, but also interesting?

so this cuts both ways. You voluntarily publish your "beliefs" widely and publicly, be prepared to be called on it. Most of us choose not to do this, but if you want to exert influence you are held inviting criticism.

Remember when the ebola-infected monkey escaping containment was our worst possible nightmare? Now it's apprently some sort of tech-bro flex to be celebrated.

scanned through pretty much the entire post. Still waiting for the funny part.

part of this is by design, which unfortunately also makes very steep terrain not look as terrifying, but gives you huge FOV. I find in all but the latest Instas its the worse low-light quality that is most notable. More annoying is that everyone is trying to compete on weird angles and perspectives, andY YT shills push attachments and niche features vs. photographic quality

This administration - and last week specifically - has set a new level in corruption; nothing before compares.
