Holy shit.

Gender is factually, as evidenced via a multitude of highly respected scientific studies conducted by a vast majority of respected experts both medical and psychological, distinct in every way from biological sex.

There is genuinely no room for opinion, disagreement, or dispute on that subject, at all. To disagree is to be, objectively, incorrect.

I can see where you are coming from in a purely politically motivated sense, yes. But the medical and psychological facts do not actually care about politics, and transgender individuals exist regardless of your belief in them.

You cannot possibly be serious. JS is one of the foremost ways of fingerprinting and identifying users that exists, if not THE foremost way.

And considering this site is "HACKER news", I'd wager that thought process is not at all rare or unexpected.

Additionally the content of this linked URL could easily and fully be conveyed in pure HTML with no need for JS.

Humans most certainly did not evolve to be religious. We evolved to look for and, if necessary (to our minds), invent meanings behind things which sometimes have truly no meaning at all, i.e. the existence of existence itself. We also evolved to be fearful of the unknown, e.g. the experience of death and afterward. It seems quite simple to see how those two things resulted in our eventual invention of religion, but we did not simply evolve to be religious per se.

Genuinely: why? All that is related to the business email is already accessible, it's just been forwarded elsewhere. The info is already known. What's to discover?

Literally every payment is used for illegal crap. I fail to see the relevance of that point.

In what ways? I'm curious as I have been under the impression it's no longer much of a difference in the way it used to be.

Exactly how is cryptocurrency merely a "money laundering scheme"?

No company is obligated to do anything. Such lack of obligation is not sufficient reason to praise companies that do the bare minimum to keep user data safe. Sure they aren't obligated but how on earth does that matter?
