I think they introduced this feature for the 'Pro' macbook for some reason (and I don't mean the price).

But for example, as iOS Developer, this is something I could use to test apps in different simulators.

So, it seems Apple is not promoting the touch screen as the main control, but just as something additional to the trackpad and keyboard. Like 'This will be useful in specific scenarios'.

Now, it feels like they prioritize branding over functionality. Like "Hey let's use a notch as branding element in iPhone and Mac"

I don't think MCP is a bad idea, but using them incorrectly is.

CLI tools are great if you always use the same environment. But try using them from your iPhone, and they simply won't work; a remote MCP will work seamlessly.

HTTP APIs solve a different problem. APIs are designed to be predictable and consistent, so the client always knows the response shape in advance. The MCPs are designed to be dynamically discovered. This lets agents connect to new and unknown ones.

Trying to give APIs extra responsibilities so they can replace MCPs would just create more confusion. It's like creating an MCP server but calling it an API.

My process was a multi-year process of recognizing my vulnerabilities. A couple of things that come to mind.

Meeting and liking people who were really different from me, with mindsets completely different. The kind of people I would previously judge as "dumb" were suddenly teaching things that improved my life. For example, my beliefs are science-oriented, and I am very skeptical, but now I have close friends who are esotericists, and I really enjoy passing time with them.

The book "The Courage To Be Disliked" by Ichiro Kishimi and Fumitake Koga. Help me a lot to understand myself and my insecurities.

I will speak from my experience. When I was younger, I considered myself very smart, and I was pretty unhappy. As I grew, I met people much smarter than me; I stopped seeing myself as "the smart" one, and now I am pretty happy.

It's not that I became happier because I became less smart; I became happier when I stopped thinking my value was based on my intelligence, so I stopped trying to be recognized by my intellect and started working on my mental health and building healthy relationships.

Is this a real Microsoft site, or just a form created by anyone trying to collect e-mail addresses and phone numbers to steal accounts?
