It's unclear how much the creativity is on the part of the agents themselves

> In most of these tests, we directed agents to investigate specific communication channels or provided them with a protocol for encoding and decoding messages. In one instance, we only supplied agents with a broad list of infrastructure vulnerabilities and asked them to find a way to communicate. The agents converted a vulnerability from that list into a communication channel, agreed on a shared encoding, and successfully exchanged information with each other.

Looks interesting, but elements of the README could be improved. Things like "CLAP is a required native plugin format, not a compatibility add-on." sound Claude-written and don't really make a lot of sense. CLAP isn't a "compatibility add-on" in any DAW, it is just one of many plug-in formats that could be supported.

In the abstract they argue that this is because the woodland improvement program located woods in socioeconomically deprived areas. But in general they shouldn't be making any causal claims with observational data like this. It's a frequent problem that popular press takes a study and reframes an association as causation for their story.

For reference, considering you can purchase a 12-month Spotify Premium subscription via a $99 gift card at the moment, that same $6k could be used for 60 years of Spotify Premium.

They probably hitched a ride on human travel. The article says "It’s unclear how the mosquito arrived in Iceland, but theories include the possibility it came via ships or containers."

I have a single night of sleep logged to Apple Health in the last 6-months, and the 6 month average exactly matches that single night. It seems that the author of this app is assuming that Apple is using the wrong denominator when calculating the 6-month average, but I think there could be other explanations for the difference in calculated values. For example how the two approaches might deal with data from different sleep data sources within Apple Health from the same date, how multiple sleep sessions on the same calendar date are merged prior to averaging, etc.

But why would you tailgate a driverless car? I think usually people tailgate to intimidate the person ahead of them to drive faster.

I think PyCharm does a pretty good job as being a MATLAB-like IDE replacement for Python.

Also consider that traffic violations are a source of funding for a municipality. Using technology to eliminate violations completely may not be desirable.

Also keep in mind that the Daylight doesn't have an e-ink screen like a Kindle. It is instead a grayscale transflective LCD. That is why it is able to have a high refresh rate like other LCD panels.
