As far as I understand this, the scanner is nothing more than a glorified barcode-scanner. It can only identify items already in their database and all the properties that it can find about the scanned item is stuff that has been manually entered into the database.

So if I scan a piece of cheese, I won't be getting the data about my specific piece of cheese but rather the same information from the back of the package which was manually entered into their database.

Ironically I've become so custom to using backspace for navigating back that I constantly end up swearing when I use it on sites that hijack text-input like Google for instance, where pressing backspace will focus on the search-field, delete the last character and immediately perform a new search.

I can confirm that the 7 speed DSG gearbox in the Golf will get you up to speed at an amazing and smooth pace!

You should try a proper DSG gearbox, they will change your mind and they're even faster and more economical than manual gearboxes.
