"drops" is unclear here - it could mean either "publishes" or "retracts"

Yes but not to the same extent. Professional, paid moderators following a centrally-defined set of rules are going to act differently to terminally-online volunteer mods.

Good luck actually getting them to do something. Also "Europe" is an entire continent with many different countries and laws, you might want to be more specific.

I've flown on half a dozen different airlines this year and all have had exactly the same stance: no power banks in checked luggage, and if they're in hand luggage you must be able to see them at all times (not in overhead storage).

You're also not allowed to use them even if you do have them with you. This is all very strictly enforced with reminders at the check-in desk and several announcements before take-off.

You can't vote for your own country so Australian bedtime is irrelevant.

Using it while flying will be complicated by the fact that all airlines have banned the use of power banks. If the onboard USB socket isn't very powerful then you'll only get an hours' use.

> It's a missed opportunity for the digital soverignty the EU says it so badly needs. The code for a government backed WhatsApp competitor is there, in multiple instances even. Launch a WhatsApp clone and put all governement communication through it so everyone has to have it installed, and you have an instant EU-wide userbase. From there, people will naturally start to use it between themselves.

I think you have completely misjudged how much the majority of people would not want to use an EU-controlled chat app.

> Those are both hilarious to me.

Why is it hilarious to believe that the industry leader might be better at something than doing it yourself?

I never had dry eyes until I got laser eye surgery. Some mornings I wake up with a very sore dry left eye.

One thing that helps with fatigue was to get some very weak glasses that I use when I'm working at a computer. They just make my eyes much more relaxed.

I'm not asking for guesses thank you (especially if they turn out to be incorrect).

>But it is amusing to see how humanity continues to oppose tech and the tech buldozes anyway, like a evil monster.

So you're saying the UK should never have built a railway system? It sounds like tech is right.

The way compound interest works then the impact of taking months off mid-career can have a huge impact on retirement age. I'd personally rather just work continuously and retire younger.
