Sure, and you do show that (and most companies who use annualized revenue are growing so fast their monthly chart looks like a hockey stick). Annualized revenue is a revenue number that serves as the minimum you expect to do if you are truly fast growing.

What would stop Bill Gates from spending $150K+ on just growing his own bananas and then selling them for a market clearing price at modest profit and therefore putting your banana pricing scheme out of business?

This is a wholly unrealistic way to do business lol.

Honest question, everyone really hates annualized revenue, but how else do you measure the revenue for a company that is (presumably) growing so much month over month? You can't just state revenue projections because they are growing too fast for them to ever make much sense.

Obviously for fast-growing companies, they always want to overstate their success to get that next bit of funding (or in OAI, Anthropic's case justify their existing valuation), so what metric should they share to investors?

That is the point, the market will find the equilibrium, which is selling bananas at a market clearing price ($0.50) and make a modest profit on each banana. You can charge $150,000 per banana, but Bill Gates can just go to a different banana stand OR just not buy a banana and now you make nothing.

"It only makes sense that the wealth created that way is also able to be drained that way" is a HUGE statement that is highly unsupported by your argument.

We pay a price for a banana because of the intrinsic value of the banana AND the price the market will bear for a banana. Bill Gates will never pay $150,000 for a banana because a banana is not worth that much. You can try to charge him for that and instead you will just not sell him any bananas. The capitalist here loses because they want to make money and would sell a banana at a market clearing rate.

Would argue it is even coming to Tier 3 cities (personal experience from Rourkela, Odisha where I feel like rooftop solar has exploded in the last 5 years)

For what its worth, https://www.weaverobotics.com/ is one of those VC-funded robot-to-fold-your-laundry companies! I think physical world implications are coming!

Seeing a lot of tricks similar to how ridesharing companies tried to be "profitable" before going to IPO. Caveat: Thing have materially improved but really Uber is carried by its insane Ads margins

The idea of removing model training from your costs is a little wild tbh.

The profitability of being able to serve a query wasn't really under question (nor is the margin expected to be anything less than 80%+) I think.

I think the evolution of the harness and ability to preserve loop context outside the context window has made running these kinds of agentic experiences easier.

sorry so many buzzwords to say, the capabilities to do this kind of work are more accessible and easier to manage, so now it works!

Good to see, and agree they were severely overhyping their product back then.

The average person is not serving on a board and is definitely not volunteering.

Sports communications at most travel/rec leagues is via group chat / Whatsapp / FB group.

The average kid in an average suburban public school is not getting this amount of digital communication. If they are, they still aren't using a Google Calendar and are managing the complexity in much simpler ways (paper calendars)

The average person is not using a calendar and is not getting more than 1 relevant personal email per week.

Most people use their personal email extremely sparingly and it is inundated with promotional / account-related materials which are already handled rather deftly by most mainstream email providers

I don't see you publishing something which further reduces the memory footprint?

Given the project is open source, have at it! See if you can help improve it instead of complaining. This is a significant improvement and a cool project!

The problem is that it requires vast sums of money to influence politics.

That is the antithesis of how politics should function (people are the interest, not moneyed companies)

Some payment is withheld unless competitors (Youtube, TikTok) take specific actions as well.
