Same we moved from Wordpress to Hugo when looking to update our company site page. Using AI to update the legacy Wordpress theme just wasn’t it. Had updated brand and style guide, Claude made short work of porting to Hugo and Google speed rankings were excellent even without cdn etc

"1070s or 1070 TIs because GPUs have been severely overpriced for too long" ... ."

1070ti launch MSRP was $450 ish. 5070 could be had in the last year for 5xx-6xx range easily.

All things considered - (inflation being about 30%~ (guess)) between these two timelines. You are looking at 300% performance difference at a cost dollar for dollar that is cheaper then when they purchased their cards.

Might be a bit of a stretch blaming it on "severely overpriced for too long..."

No questions or comments. Just glad to wake up and read this. Big fan of how the things we consider small can be life changing to someone else.

I would be careful not to confuse navigating a government built website with finding information and records from government related entities. Those two are not the same issue and shouldn’t be painted as such regardless of one’s reading or comprehension (IMHO)

I always find it interesting how many large enterprises have all these DR guidelines but fail to ever test. Glad to hear that everything came back alright

What I believe he is referring to is Jury nullification. I interpret your statement of open and shut case as you believe jury must convict if what they interpret to be facts of breaking a laws written by man. By a jury choosing not to convict there is another form of justice implied…

Been through the airport shenanigans enough; collected DEA cards like they was Pokémon. Glad to see them do away with this practice. DEA could definitely use more checks and balance structure with their history of warrantless taps, gps tracking, stingrays, parallel construction (obscuring the true source of where information came from denying those charged the ability to challenge and defend themselves properly.)

Dumb question but my assumption is fiber optic cables could be “tapped”? But the disruption would be noticeable when monitoring the cable. Could you just tap it when you cut it and when it hooked back up that’s the new baseline with the tap in place? That would seem more of a logical reason then a country just randomly cutting lines to me?

I agree with statement. Nothing really to add in to your response, just seconding it.
