Okay this is the clearest read I've found. Regardless of the language, the real(looking) depiction of the victim carried so much emotional weight it heavily increased the sentence. I see this being a reasonable possibility and not legal games to get out of a sentence. Using an ai victim statement is playing legal games.

Do you write anywhere about your time there during covid? Seeing a foreigner's perspective during that time would be fascinating.

That's some interesting info anyways if not. It's funny that the absolute number of VPN users is large but negligible compared to the overall population.

I mean, there is one, they have copyright law. Forgive me for being slow is this a joke about the widespread theft of IP in China? Or was the acquisition of training data just much more 'accepted' in China compared to the west?

I feel I messed up your quip =/ I'm new here, go ez. Not looking for excuses to hate on China either.

Ive been pondering lately that as we've learned more about corvid intelligence and the ability for birds to discern a wide variety of calls with a great degree of accuracy, the old insult "bird-brain" has aged rather poorly. They seem to be much smarter than we gave them credit for all the way to the unfortunately named dodo bird and its old inaccurate depiction that took hold in public conscience.

Now apparently they have an similar thing to our proprioception(tho hard to tell if as accurate as ours) if I'm understanding the abstract correctly.
