Can someone give me an impression of how simplified this set of articles is? I was building out remote MCP architecture at the start of the year and came to a similar conclusion as the author around the stateless nature of LLM API's ("An LLM API is stateless. Every turn, you send the entire conversation as a JSON array and get text back. A harness is the program that builds, maintains, and protects that array using a simple loop.").

However, I just figured that this line of thinking was a consequence of a frankly naive implementation, and that frameworks like LangGraph etc provide a more sophisticated way of thinking about it.

I usually don't follow this kind of celebrity news. This is the first time, maybe in my life, that I felt the news of a celebrity passing in my gut.

Patrick Stewart's role in TNG was iconic and left a big mark on me as a kid. I felt like TNG really envisioned a society that would be utopic, and I was always inspired by his code, his faith in himself and his morals, and his deep curiosity and compassion for the people around him and the strangers out in the universe.

The world of TNG still lives in a tiny corner of my brain, as a place of both comfort and inspiration.

For my money, one of the most visually impressive Ghibli movies. Just stunning composition throughout.

100 percent agree. It's like the consensus for tone and vocabulary has been "midlevel digital marketer from 2015" and now everything is starting to sound like a lazy sales pitch. I'm with you on AI but man, this is such an annoying side effect.

Side question: how grim is the the Road? I've been meaning to pick it up because I love No Country but I've heard that the Road is just bleaker than bleak.

Man, find of the day. This is such an refined way of viewing the news (and then stopping and going outside).

yeah, unfortunately I was the same. I really liked the loading bar too. It reminded me of all those old school flash and shockwave games. When it hit 1% though, I bailed.

This is a really cool little project. Also, the title gave me a strong hit of like mid 2000's internet "hacking" content that I tore through when I was in high school.

Yeah 100%. Also the digital work is 100% craft.

I used to work in architecture and CNC was always seen as a powerful fabrication tool for installations and temporary structures.

To see it working in stone, and to see it creating classical motifs, is genuinely inspiring. Incredible use of technology here and am still blown away by the craft required to model this out, knowing how the stone is going to respond when cut.

Interesting post but I would love to see the process behind these images. I agree that the base capability has definitely increased but man, editing via prompts still remains a pain in the neck. I've found that it's difficult to be able to maintain stability in certain areas of an an image, while making changes in others, and avoiding artifacting across the images.

For a side project that's very art-asset heavy (and that I'm picky on), it takes me about an hour to get from an initial sketch up to a final image that I'm fairly happy with.

I am totally addicted to reddit. Good instincts - stay off it hahaha

Honestly, agree. I find the niche subreddits are nice because they are still very human, in terms of both users and mods, but once they get a bit bigger it just gets destroyed by new users and bots.

Man, this is chilling. Between this and those "anti-ice" protestors that got a collective 450 years of jail time, it seems pretty close to police state levels of power, corruption and control.

This is so fascinating. These kind of isometric games were really defining in my childhood so it's amazing to be able to peek behind the curtain in terms of how it all works to render. So interesting about the lighting and how they had pre-rendered .spr files for windows alongside the regular lighting. So cool!
