He's not wrong, it was just an incredibly tone-death thing to say given the current general public's feelings towards AI.

You're kidding yourself if you think the moment they get an upper hand or better models they won't close everything down

I was being sarcastic. I’m actually a self-certified AI shill and personally paid by Dario and Sam for each and every post!

Because every time I see AI integration anywhere (and it's everywhere) I have an emotional breakdown and my day is ruined

I actually like the AI overview because most of the time it answers my question perfectly and I don’t need to click through multiple results (because they kinda suck now). I started treating the search more as a once off ai prompt rather than searching for keywords etc. I tried Kagi but it also kinda sucked and I was underwhelmed. Sue me.

You did a wonderful job of constructing a strawman and DESTROYING it in your comment! AI can't build an e-signing solution, but you, the expert of experts, can do it! Good job!

> The LLM does not experience reality

Who said that it did? The comment you're replying to literally states "It's only actually anthropomorphizing if you forget it's a trick and think it's a real person".

You're the one obviously not getting it.
