These two concerns weren't really noticeable when I played games on Stadia. That isn't to say you wouldn't notice them, but I certainly didn't.

I'd guess maybe 90% of gamers probably wouldn't either. And those negatives are somewhat balanced by the positives that cloud-streamed games enables: no disk space management (minor) and no cheaters (huge!).

There are many Zionists who are not Jewish. You seem to be conflating those terms as well.

> nobody cares if it went up or down in value

If only this were true, we wouldn't have homeowners constantly fighting against new development or construction. Many homeowners treat their primary residence as an investment.

I'm an extreme OAI skeptic, so I'm certainly biased, but is it truly baseless when the CEO was fired for being deceptive? When the workforce rallies to get him reinstated, it simply reinforced the idea in my mind that it is part of the company culture.

I assume it has something to do with being on a website called "Hacker News" and said models are, for the most part, the only ones being published as open weights.

I think it's safe to assume that people close to retirement have existing appreciating assets contributing to that total savings amount.

Is that no longer the case, or am I misunderstanding the operational costs displayed?

Opus: 521k input tokens; 12k out

Grok: 443k input tokens; 57k out

Gemini: 677k input tokens; 7k out

OAI: 543k input tokens; 17k out

Gemini appears to use by far the least amount of reasoning tokens, assuming they're included in the output counts.

How many rooms in your home though? These are crucial details.

I have a feeling you are using SOTA models at work and aren't used to just how cheap the non-Anthropic/Google/OAI options are these days. GLM's coding subscription is like $6/month if you buy a full year.

Reading the parent comment, I assume their use of 'freedom' more closely aligns with being undisturbed by a government.

It's a very common usage in America, focusing on "Freedom from X" rather than "Freedom to do Y", the latter of which often needs some sort of societal protection, most often provided by said government.
