Use mermaid quite often. It's best for simple flow charts, git flows, etc, but where applicable it is great.

It is especially nice combined with mkdocs and the mermaid plugin when doing documentation.

Google Maps has lane navigation. IDK what you mean about 'auto' recentering. I think it does this though.

There used to be a zoom out/overview feature, but it's def not in Android Auto these days.

Fair, but that's a matter of time it seems. I think AV1 is a good bet.

Not directly right? LIT is based off of WIZ or something like that from google iirc?

Maybe I'm wrong here.

Check out best-buy. They are offering $100 more on lots of pixel trade-ins than the google or fi store.

do they offer the watch as a free rider where you are?

Because ... that's worth 12% and then some.

Apple has had some equally frustrating and embarrassing misses in their time. No manufacturer is 100%.

I am biased, as I've had every pro/xl but the Pixel6 and the google nexus phone's prior to that.

With that being said i've only had questionable build quality on 2 occasions. The Huawei 6p which was covered under a recall, and the Panda Pixel 2XL where there was some lamination issues.

That being said, the build quality and materials (mostly) really stepped up initially in the Pixel 4, and then noticeably again in the P7. They are quite nice. I don't really find them lacking in quality, fit, or finish these days.

This is the distinction that people often fail to make or care about when lazily lobbing hate at anything new google creates.

Agreed. While I like my school getting some pub on HN, it's not the original source.

"switched to"? There's no full switch to anything.

Webp has been around for over a decade. AVIF will probably get adoption as a faster rate in my estimation.

Ski Goggles are now going to be fashion-forward. Take the back to the future Air Mag shoes with these and you'll complete the fit.

I was under the impression that their double wide container rig would be at deck level and lashed down to the vessel; not stacked on top of other containers. This is the only way they could control the vertical height of the retracted sail for going under bridges, etc.

Love how this idea has energized HN.
