Can also be read as observation, as I have observed that many colleagues haven't started yet using AI on a daily basis and I myself is still using methods from months ago (no agent orchestration).

Is there even a way to professionally decide if a company's value is 1.25 or 1.4 Trillion?

I always kind of suspected that those are somehow derived numbers, but arbitrary for the most part.

> would we deem it acceptable

No, and if you try to refer to Russia attacking Ukraine, it's not acceptable when/if they attack and kill civilians.

That's still not close to what happened on 7th Oct where Hamas went out to murder random people to invoke terror, stop the Abraham negotiations and provoke a severe reaction of Israel.

> Are you sure that the logic of an attack such as 9/11 is that you are directly punishing the individual victims?

Terrorists justify their actions - murdering civilians - by saying that they are all guilty.

> 9/11 was an Israeli attack on the US

I have already realized that for a few people, everything is Israel's evil doing, but this is new and wild.

The whole post is quite off topic, though.

> 1. It was hard to ask any question.

Totally. There were so many safeguards in place, for a newcomer it is quite hard to contribute.

They also never understood a core principle of such platforms. The noise is not noise but what carries such platforms. They even had it quantified, some of their most upvoted questions are off topic because they are opinion based. Bad and good questions (and answers) come hand in hand.

Well, they were the backbone of professional IT/SWE, so of course they did a lot of things right obviously.

Saying that it has become easier or less ugly is quite the counter point, though.

> It's also debatable if anyone living on stolen land can be considered a "civilian".

No, it's not. That's the logic of terrorists, calling all US citizen guilty, and therefore calling terror acts like 9/11 justified.

> Or is the weaker victim expected to play by the rules of warfare and accept its eventual defeat?

You are expected to not murder civilian, children, families.

That's a totally different thing though. That was an operation with a short time frame.

It's not about explosive, the headline just want to give that impression.

That pager thing was a tactical operation with clear goals and a defined time frame.

Spying on other countries on the other hand had always been a thing, the US spying on the German Government is an example that became very well known back when it was discovered here in Germany.

It's constructed consensus. Pretty obvious when you go to r/conservative, 90% are the same 2-3 talking points, over and over again. It's not organic.

It's less about big tech. They are always risk avoiding when it comes to the government. Google renames things all the time all over the world for the population of some gone-wild administration.

Inventing new speech makes it easy to identify loyalists on a personal level at scale and also avoids that people talk to each other.

Such stuff only get renamed for the country with the government in question (WSA - Weird States of America?). To the rest of the world, the real name is still shown.

It's not the information itself that get sold, but the specific composition of information arranged as a book. Work went into it and people who do it sell that rightfully.
