Slurrrrrrp, the sound of the boot being licked. a16z wants sone lucrative gov contracts?

For lol kicks:

1. Comparing AI to nukes (not that AI isn't dangerous but it isn't nuke-like in it's game theory)

2. Comparing WW2 circumstances to now.

3. This beggars belief to just drop this err.... assumption... and leave it as a major pillar of an argument:

> More significant, though, is the war’s rationale. The primary explanation for American involvement has been to prevent Iran’s acquisition of nuclear weapons.

If this were true US should provide evidence, and get allies and congress involved and onboard.

4. Above has link to Truth Social.

Shame the first 5 or so paragraphs were excellent, I wondered if a16z writing had finally deslopped. But no.

People need to transition from 100% code* to 80-90% code and 10-20% do things that are good for the company and team's productivity (using that word in the broadest sense). You want all hands to spot the cracks and fix them. You probably want to create a culture where people do that.

*code = code, design, discuss code, write tickets, test etc. i.e. get the shit done on the plan

You may need to transition to making willingness and ability to do that (i.e. be an owner) a hiring criteria and performance criteria.

Art is knowing what to document. And how to organize it. This is probably not a solved problem and needs constant care and refactoring like the code itself.

Giving people additional documented responsibilities helps. Lucy is responsible for API docs and swagger up to date and for building that out as business needs. Varun is responsible for coding practices docs. And so on. If something is out of date they update it. Use Confluence or Notion or something else good.

Yes I like that /clear starts me at zero again and that feels nice but I am scared that'll go away.

Like when Google wasn't personalized so rank 3 for me is rank 3 for you. I like that predictability.

Obviously ignoring temperature but that is kinda ok with me.

Got some excellent results vibe coding 3.js games with Claude. Maybe for printable things it is harder as precision is important though.

Exaxtly. Can you get a lawyer on the phone now or do you wait ~ 5 hours. How about a doctor appt. Or a vet appt. Or a mechanic visit.

Needing full human attention on a co.plex task from a pro who can only look at your thing has a wait time. It is worse when there are only 2 or 3 such people in the world you can ask!
