> IN the continental US, you cannot refuse to accept a dollar note.

Minor side note: this is true only for repayment of debts. Some local jurisdictions require private parties to accept cash for new purchases, but there's no federal requirement to do so.

Looks like this uses the Truck modeling kernel: https://github.com/ricosjp/truck

Interestingly, ttouch created browser-based CAD tool CADmium a few years ago based on Truck. Then, a few months ago, they created another one (CADara) based on OpenCASCADE: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=48070083.

Truck seems cool, but creating a b-rep kernel is a phenomenal amount of work. Given that, I'm curious how quickly SolidCraft will mature.

I assumed that it meant that if you ran code at compile time or at runtime, the results should be exactly the same given the same inputs.

I ctrl-Fed for "http" in this post and looked through the 61 links, following several of them that seemed like they may be relevant. I didn't find anything that appeared talked about what you've mentioned in your posts. Some talked about deaths, but I didn't find anything that even insinuated that they were carried about by or on behalf of the intelligence community.

I also did a web search for "intelligence community housecleaning" and looked through the top 60 results. I didn't find much. Several references talked about people being fired, but I didn't find any about them being killed.

I'd like to think I'm reasonably intelligent and web-literate, but after 15-20 minutes I didn't find what I was looking for. Maybe I'm just going about it the wrong way? Given how much you've posted on the topic, it seems like you want to convince people; if so, could you post some sources directly?

Where can you buy a workstation like that for so little?

Is there somewhere I can read more about what you are claiming in these comments? How did you learn about these housecleaning activities?

This 20-minute video argues that downtowns subsidize suburbs: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q1G3D55LD-E. I found the arguments pretty persuasive. I'd love to hear counterpoints to them, though.

There's a coherent argument for doing so: if the law is enforced, and no one wants it to be enforced, it creates pressure to fix the law. Laws that are on the books but not enforced lead to laws meaning nothing in the extreme case.

I think there's merit to both sides and the sweet spot is somewhere in the middle.

Worse than vibe coding is vibe copywriting—and it appears to have that in spades. I have a really hard time taking something seriously that reads like it came straight out of Claude Code without even a minimal editing pass.

I hope it's legit, though, and that they succeed! I'd love to buy a product like they're planning to build.

The most practical way to do this is to ensure that your indoor air CO2 levels aren't significantly elevated over outdoor levels. One common way to do that (apart from opening windows) is to use a balanced ventilation system like an ERV or HRV. Those constantly exchange indoor air for outdoor air, and exchange a lot of the heat in the process to reduce energy losses.

Doesn't help if atmospheric CO2 levels increase to unsafe levels, though.

I suspect the intent is to minimize return on investment. The returns from climate data are returns that the current administration does not want.
