I also found dndkit and built a very complex/robust drag and drop form builder with it. It gave me nice abstractions for custom collision detection without worrying about the browser implementation. Highly recommended.

This is how you ruin remote work for everyone. Remote work is about trust.

Congrats on shipping Christos, Damien, and Nodar! I really like this idea. I have this problem at my company.

Two questions:

First, we’re using Postgres and some of our tables use JSON. Would Synth be able to generate realistic JSON? Sometimes this is configuration (which would need to be straight copied) and other times it would be data (which would need to keep the same keys but have generated values). Is this use case supported?

Second, I’m concerned about giving Synth access to my data as much of it is sensitive. I understand that you need access to production data to offer the service. What can you tell me about your data security to help me feel more comfortable? (i.e. What kind of data would you have stored on your end? How does the CLI work? etc)

Congrats again and good luck!

I’ve struggled with this for years and missed important events as a result.

I went to the doctor and got a small prescription of anxiety medication and it helped me tremendously. I take a small dose once I get in my seat on the plane.

It doesn’t make me drowsy or feel very different but the extreme levels of terror that I felt before don’t affect me now. I still have to be calm and rational as I’m preparing for my flight but the fear is completely manageable now.

I’ve even taken flights without any medication since and feel so much more at peace. I would have never believed that would be possible before medication.

Your mileage may vary but it has given me my ability (and desire!) to travel back.

I appreciate being able to read the words the way they were spoken. It doesn’t seem inherently wrong or awkward to me.

I had the same thought as I was reading the article. My experience living in Houston for a decade was that no one assigned any special meaning to "out" and "over".

Thanks. That clip is the confirmation I’ve been looking for since the live stream ended. I agree that it’s still an amazing achievement!

This looks really interesting! What’s the primary use case for this? I read the README and didn’t see any discussion about why this was made.

I really enjoyed this piece. We don't use .dev on my team so it allowed me to read it as purely educational. And it really was informative and surprisingly entertaining!

Ditto.

Connecting is far and away the biggest pain I've had with my AirPods. I don't have a problem with their charge (despite using them all day) or with them falling out or getting lost.

I bought them to remove the hassle of the cables getting knotted and caught on things and, on that front, it's been amazing. I frequently forget I have them in my ears at all. I even fell asleep wearing them the other night and woke up to them still securely in my ears.

If Apple could just improve the connecting and disconnecting experience, I would be absolutely thrilled.

All I could think about was Russ Hanneman.

> interestingly Google doesn’t seem to be eager to provide info on how many megapixels the sensor has.

Whenever it showed shots from the camera POV in the promo video, it looked like the pictures would be pretty low res.
