The answer from Andrew sounds like that because there is a history between people from the core team and lalinsky.

Yes, I agree with the parent's point. I just wanted to point out that "modern art" is a little bit of a complicated term.

I've never been there, but the German Wikipedia says it houses "modern and contemporary art". I'd assume that in their vast collection, you might even find stuff that's older than the 1860s.

Overall a great point, but I have a nit-pick:

> Modern art, as everyone should know, started in 1860s in Europe

As someone who is active in the German art scene, the understanding is not that clear-cut. Modern art, as I learned it, is "art in the modern period". So everything after the middle ages. Basically when people stopped only drawing religious art and portraits of nobles. What started in the 1860s is "modernism".

The term used more often (at least in Germany) is "contemporary art". Which translates to "everything after WW 2". I've seen a lot of contemporary art museums, but few modern art museums.

I'm just patiently waiting for Bun to lose momentum and for Node to pick up the best ideas from Bun. Takes a couple of years usually, but saves me two migrations.

I would make the larger point that I do not like my software to depend on any software with a bus factor of one that I can't control. Elm had this problem and Acadia has it too.

I think other nations are not asking themselves which country has the best human rights record. That time has passed. Trump and Putin have pushed the world back to pure power politics. All the middle powers want to be less open to US blackmailing by diversifying. They know China is not their friend, but the US isn't either, and China is more predictable.

It works well in Germany. For products too, at least what I tried. The last time I did a very German product search (association-management software) the first hit was a comparison on golem.de, which is pretty solid.

It’s enough to add a `?` to any Kagi query to get an AI answer. I like that I can choose for which queries I use AI and for which traditional web search.

In Zig, function arguments are not wrapped in `.{}`. `.{}` is the syntax for creating a struct or a tuple. This is used as a pattern for allowing optional arguments (options struct) and variadic functions (tuple).

Explicitly discarding return values is a thing many modern programming languages force you to do.
