Front motors will remain induction, as is in the AWD and Performance Model 3's. Only the rear motor will change.

Torque Ripple is only an issue on the single motor Model 3s.

The WSJ 'reeks of desperation', and the New York Post.

NewsCorp should be given the corporate death penalty.

I wonder if there is any models exploring the possibility that our system is uncommon due to 2 systems merging? IOW, Sol ejected a companion star and assimilated the planets from the other.

My P3D will arrive in 2-4 months -- very excited for the future of transportation, and an end to gasoline/diesel cars. 100 years is a long time without disruption, and couldn't come soon enough.

But I love the seeing all the hate here, I wonder if people at the turn of the century reacted the same way when their horse drawn carriages were disrupted.

So much insecurity in these comments. Hilarious. I hope you didn't buy into the shorts thesis.

Aliens

He wasn't even there a year. Hired, not promoted, hack system, leak to the press, exfiltrate data (automated and distributed).

Doesn't look like your typical anything to me.

It is simply being fully awake. We take our consciousness for granted, but in reality, we are sleep-walking the majority of our waking lives. Reacting, not Acting.

It is a wakefulness that is universal, I would image another species of intelligent beings also existing with full knowledge and acceptance of existence, be they organic or digital. It is not a human quality, but something much more.

The satellites will be meshed over 83 orbital planes starting around 1100km up. The satellites will connect to the farthest satellite it can see that makes the shortest path to the egress. So 2~3 hops verse a datacenter hops to the fiber ingress..then out the fiber across the atlantic.

This is monumental - I claim every major advance in communication technology immediately precedes a major progress for society.

This will make the 'Internet' truly global and ubiquitous.

So excited for the developing world.

Change via Destruction is much different than change via Cohesion.

And now we have the Chaotic President, thanks, Bannon.

The biggest difference is Bannon wants to break society to that it can be remade as he wants. Classic villain methodology, where the ends justify the means. Creating and exploiting divisions in society, damaging democratic institutions, so that the Government collapses and Democracy along with it. To be replaced with 'his' vision for this country. That is evil and treasonous.

If you use the Stelliferous Era [From 10^6 (1 million) years to 10^14 (100 trillion) years after the Big Bang. --wikipedia] as a meaningful period we are still at the very beginning, less than 0.0138% through.
