Correct, but it still was framing that would be useful to have. If nothing else, because civilian reactors mean there's also a civilian program, an educational program, and the military would like to have that around.

Or perhaps the lack thereof if you are one of the unsuccessful companies. In the 90s, I worked for a company that competed with Cisco I worked for a company that competed with Cisco. story was in the mid 80s an executive went to Silicon Valley. His report was that Cisco was a bunch of nobodies that would never go anywhere, which they'd go down the street and buy Vitalink instead. You have heard of Cisco and not Vitalink for a reason.

There is no position to take. The market will remain irrational longer than I remain solvent. But I'm not sure how long that will be

I had one a few months ago for $75. Insurance didn't cover it but they took my card.

It is $100 if nothing is wrong. If something is found correcting it is cheaper than a heart attack. Statins are not expensive and knowing how bad things are leads to how aggressive you perscribe them.

I mean Amazon. There were lots of companies part of the .com bubble that did fail. Amazon did not though.

My contention is it doesn't stop a larger economic collapse - it just kicks it down the road and makes it grow even larger.

I've seen lots of bubbles. I remember thinking Amazon was a bubble in the .com days...

All the more reason to make them fail. FDIC should pay insurance and otherwise fail the banks. Capitalism cannot work if there isn't feedback that not watching for things like this will hurt you.

Resale value is critical for leases. If nobody wants to buy the car after the lease is over then the lease company needs to scrap the car. Lease companies pay close attention to expected resale value because they are betting a lot of money on it.

There already is a subscription. Salt, pot holes and other wear mean the car won't last forever so in 3-10 years I buy a new one.

Cars have long had a full industry that scraps them. There are enough valuable parts to make money doing it.

NAT is a terrible solution with major downsides.

We are close to not having enough just for the servers people really want much less random things that should be contactable peer to peer.

NAT should not replace a firewall

I'm under the impression that most grid scale batteries are owned by the utility which in turn cares about this. And the rest are only going to be bought if a utility \ grid gives them a contract where again those who care will give better terms of they need it.

My home battery might participate without the above but in to small to matter.
